Since my last post discussed artwork I thought I’d share an art hanging guide I came across a few years back while touring one of the SF Design Showcase Homes. I’ll admit I sometimes get stuck in ruts when hanging artwork. I’m a girl who likes symmetry, so thinking outside the box when it comes to hanging artwork can be a bit challenging for me at times. During the tour, I ran across a card for the Lost Art Salon located in SF. At home I looked them up online and found out that they are “A Resource for Modernist, Vintage & Antique Art & Objects from the 1900-1960s.” Their prices are affordable with their average ranging from $350-$750 for original pieces.
What I also LOVED was their Free Downloadable Art Hanging Guide which I’m here to share with you today!

Prior to finding this little gem of a place I’d be a “Series Hang”

Now, I’m inspired to try new things like the “Salon Hang”.

Or this “Totem Hang” which I have just the right room for if my client will go for it.

Thank you Lost Art Salon for providing such great visuals and descriptions!
